How to Choose a Garden Dining Set: Sizes, Materials and What Actually Matters
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the chairs tuck under the table?
Each chair is shaped to slide neatly into a gap in the table's frame. The footstools slot in beside or beneath the chairs. When everything is tucked in, the set forms a compact cube that sits flush on all sides. No parts stick out or need to be removed.
Is a cube dining set sturdy enough for everyday use?
Yes. The powder-coated steel frame is built for regular use. Each chair supports up to 120kg. The table is stable enough for full place settings, serving dishes, and drinks. These sets are designed to be used frequently, not just for special occasions.
What size patio do I need for a cube dining set?
The set itself is about 120cm x 120cm when tucked in. When the chairs are pulled out for dining, you need roughly 3m x 3m to give everyone room to sit and move comfortably. Make sure there is space behind each chair position for people to stand up without bumping into walls or fences.
Can the footstools be used as extra seats?
The footstools can support a child or a lighter adult for casual seating. They are not designed as primary seats for heavier adults during long meals, as they are lower than the chairs and do not have back support. They work well as side tables or for resting your feet between courses.
Does the cube dining set come with a cover?
A protective cover is not included as standard but is available to purchase separately. We strongly recommend getting one, especially if the set will be left outside during autumn and winter. The cover fits over the tucked-in cube shape and protects against rain, frost, and debris.
